Tips & Tricks Tuesday: Managing your daily rituals with minimal effort
In honor of ADHD Awareness Month we are featuring a few tips for managing ADHD when it comes to your to-do list. (And as with many things ADHD, tips and supports benefit everyone, not just those who have it!)
For our last installment we are focusing on tying it all up. We’ve highlighted how Remember The Milk can help you get organized, structure your time, and set things up ahead of time to make them easier to do.
If you have ADHD, it can take longer or be more difficult to form habits. However, they can be so important to maintaining your energy, helping shape your day, etc. especially alongside the tips we discussed about organizing and planning!
This tip we featured previously highlights a good way to build a routine ritual that you can stick with. (Even the subtle shift from calling something a “routine” to calling it a “ritual” can help it be a little more exciting to do regularly. 😎)
You can flexibly change the tasks in your morning or evening ritual as you identify your needs and goals, and you don’t have to worry as much about forgetting one of the steps or doing them in the right order. Keeping your daily rituals flexible and adaptable can help keep them fresh and useful.
We hope these tips this month have been helpful alongside your regularly scheduled tasks, and that these supports can help your days/weeks/months be a bit smoother! 💙
