Tips & Tricks Tuesday: Visually separate tasks you're working on
If you’re committed to avoiding due dates, how do you prioritize what to actually work on on any given day? This week’s tip comes from robadsen, who recommends a placeholder task to keep things separated. That way you have a great visual indicator just for you. :)
Due dates generally don’t work for me, so I’m ordering tasks through drag and drop.
This, however, doesn’t make it visually obvious what is to do today and what is to be done later.
I’ve therefore created a new task in every list, consisting of a simple line.
Tasks to do today are dragged and dropped above the line and all the rest is below. One glance is enough to see today’s task, eliminating visual background noise.
