Tips & Tricks Tuesday: Nightly follow-up reminders

Daily Reminder settings screenshot

We’ve talked before about multitasking while relaxing, but perhaps you’ve found (like I have) that sometimes you need a more concrete reminder to get some things done before the day is over?

This week’s tip, shared by mbmccormick, suggests using your daily reminder to let you know what you have left for the day.

I have a problem where I get home for work or class and I get too comfortable watching TV or something and I start to ignore the tasks that I had due today. I setup my reminder settings so that Remember The Milk will email on the day a task is due at 8:00pm (as opposed to sometime in the morning, like most people probably do).

This way when I am sitting around being unproductive, Remember The Milk will send me an email at 8:00pm letting me know if I have any tasks leftover for the day.

You can change your reminder time in the web app; see our Reminders Guide for all the details.

Thanks for sharing this tip, mbmccormick! You’re our Tips & Tricks Tuesday winner this week.
