Tips & Tricks Tuesday: Keeping track of moving boxes before a move

Planning a big move can be difficult to coordinate, even with the help of movers.

In this week’s tip, chashmish shares three lists to keep track of what goes where and when so everything is in place when the movers arrive.

I’m in the middle of a cross-country move and I am using RTM to inventory my items. I’m packing everything up myself and am essentially categorizing each box into one of the following categories:

• Boxes I am taking with me in my car
• Boxes to move to my new home
• Boxes to move into storage

When my movers come to pack up the place, I am planning to use these lists to double check against the inventory list they provide and ensure all items are counted. It’s a nice way to double check everything!
