Tips & Tricks Tuesday: Creating a habit of reading
It’s said that it takes a month to create a habit. If you’ve gotten out of the habit of reading but want to get back into it, this week’s tip, shared by chandra.gaajula, should help: a quick task will encourage you to keep up with your reading each day.

Creating a habit takes the following:
1. Clear idea of the goal and a believable game plan.
2. Discipline to follow the game plan.
3. A smart way to track progress.
It’s in creating a smart way to track progress that I use RTM. So, for creating a book reading habit I did the following:
1. Created a list “Books To Read”
2. Added the book I wanted to read with the following particulars:
• Task Name: Think and Grow Rich
• Due:
• Repeat: every 1 day for 30 times {where the 30 is the number of chapters in the book}
• Time estimate: 30 min
• Tags: none
• Location: Home
