Tips & Tricks Tuesday: Organizing destinations for a trip
When planning a trip, choosing sightseeing destinations can take a lot of effort. Let alone trying to remember that place you heard of years ago before you planned the trip!
This week’s tip comes from radmoose, who suggests making a list of potential destinations and organizing them by city. Then, when planning and going on a trip, you have your destinations organized and ready to visit. Enjoy!
I have found a method to use RTM in yet another way… what to do when I get a chance to travel to (city)!
I create a list that is the name of the city, and throughout the time I have before I visit, I add places that I find or think of to the list. When I get to the particular city I can bring up the list, and check them off as I get to visit them.
For example, when I next go to Vancouver BC I want to visit the Capilano Suspension Bridge. I added it to my RTM list, add the URL and notes.
When I am ready to visit Vancouver, the list of places to visit is already completed and easy to use. It also helps that I can share the list with friends or family.
To take it to the next level, I can put in locations of areas that I want to visit and using the mobile app, the suggestions popup when I am in the area.
