Tips & Tricks Tuesday: Minimize your food wastage
Ah, what to have for dinner tonight… it’s always a tricky question (and even more so when you have a fussy stuffed monkey in your household). zeebacca uses Remember The Milk to keep track of food purchases and expiry dates – a handy way to answer the “what’s for dinner?” question and minimize food wastage. Sweet!

Guess what I’m having for dinner tonight?
A nice serving of Jack Daniel’s Fully Cooked Barbecue Chicken I bought at CostCo about a month ago.
Why am I telling you this? I use RTM for grocery lists and when I stand in line to check out, I add the expiration dates of certain perishables to their tasks and get a reminder telling me it’s time to EAT or waste the food!
As a single guy, my disorganization in the kitchen is legendary and I have tossed $1,000s worth of food in the past… not anymore.
