New import and export options

This update to the web and desktop apps is all about importing and exporting! Oh, and bug fixes. Who doesn’t like bug fixes?!

You can now export your Remember The Milk data in JSON format (in addition to the more limited iCalendar export that was already available). This new export option means you can keep an archive for your records, or use the data in another service. To export your data, just head to ‘Account Settings’ then ‘Export’ in our web and desktop apps.

We’ve also added an import feature that allows you to import your Remember The Milk data (that you saved with that aforementioned new export feature).

While we were working in the import/export general area, we also added some new import options. You can now import your tasks from Toodledo and Todoist, in addition to the existing Wunderlist import option. We plan to add support for importing from even more apps in the future, so if you’d like to see support for a specific app, please let us know!

  • Fixed: An issue where the task list wouldn’t update properly after a bulk update in some cases.
  • Fixed: An issue where zooming out in Chrome would show double lines between task rows.
  • Fixed: An issue where tasks would display under the wrong group based on day name in some cases.
  • Fixed: An issue where OneNote URLs weren’t auto-linked in notes.
  • Fixed: An issue where Evernote URLs weren’t auto-linked in notes.
  • Fixed: An issue where Cyrillic characters in a filename cause it to not upload to Dropbox.
  • Fixed: An issue where the 'after a month on the last day’ repeat rule didn’t work in German.
  • Fixed: Several issues with Portuguese repeat parsing.
