New for Pro: Introducing MilkSync for Microsoft Outlook

There’s one question we’ve been asked countless times since we launched Remember The Milk: “When are you guys going to sync with Microsoft Outlook?”. We’re excited that we finally have an answer: today!

MilkSync for Microsoft Outlook is an app that synchronizes your Remember The Milk and Microsoft Outlook tasks, and it’s available now as a free download for Pro users. Features include:

  • Two way synchronization (or optionally Remember The Milk to Microsoft Outlook, or vice versa).
  • Scheduled synchronization (e.g., automatically sync every 15 minutes).
  • Include all lists or specific lists from Remember The Milk when syncing.
  • Easy access to sync via a Windows System Tray icon.

Will it work with my system, you ask? MilkSync for Microsoft Outlook is compatible with 32-bit editions of Microsoft Outlook 2003, 2007 and 2010 on Windows XP (SP2 and higher), Windows Vista and Windows 7. (Support for 64-bit editions will be coming in late 2010.)

The app is currently available in English and Japanese, with support for additional languages planned for future updates – the more the merrier!

Thank you, testers!

We’d like to say a big thank you to the Remember The Milk users in the Pro Tester Program who helped us to test the app. We really appreciate all of your feedback, which helped us to make a number of improvements to the app during the testing period (yay!). Thanks also to all those who diligently reported bugs and quirky bits!

(A special note for testers: If you’re still using an earlier version of MilkSync for Microsoft Outlook, we’d recommend updating to the current version to make sure you have the latest bug fixes and added features.)

Ready to start syncing?

Head on over to the MilkSync for Microsoft Outlook page, where you’ll find more info about the app as well as the all-important download link. If you don’t have a Pro account yet, you’ll be able to try the app free for 15 days (just download it and start syncing to begin your trial :).
