Bug squishing progress for iOS 8 [updated]
When the final version of iOS 8 became available to developers last week, Bob was sad to discover that there are a couple of issues with the Remember The Milk app. :( The known issues are:
1. Properties don’t display in editing dialogs (e.g., edit task)
This is a display issue only, and you can still see the property by tapping on it.
2. Occasionally when the app is loaded, the tasks don’t appear
If this happens, it’s necessary to force the app to close before opening it again:
- Tap the Home button to return to the Home screen. Make sure not to skip this step!
- Double-tap the Home button.
- Swipe left or right until you have located the Remember The Milk app.
- Swipe the app’s preview up to close it.
Bob’s been coding furiously ever since we discovered these issues, and expects to submit a bug squishing update to Apple shortly. If you plan to upgrade to iOS 8 immediately, please be aware of these issues (and we apologize profusely if you encounter them!).
Update, September 24: We’ve submitted the bug squishing update to Apple, and we’re just waiting for it to be approved. Thanks for your patience!
Update, September 25: Our bug squishing update is now available on the App Store, woot!
