Tips & Tricks Tuesday: Import a quick running plan that keeps the pace for weeks
Running can be great exercise: clears the head and does a body good. It can be easy to get stagnant, however.
This week’s tip comes from hhmacedo, who suggests setting up a running plan quickly, so you have your running schedule set, whether you’re looking to prepare for a race or just to shake things up in your routine.
Either way, all you’ll have to do tomorrow is to lace up and get out there!
If you are a runner, you know how hard it is to organize how much you should run or when you should rest (you want to run your best way all the time, but this way you’re going to get injured). My tip is to use the feature “Import a list via email” with Smart Add and stick to the plan.
For example:Subject: 5km planBody:1-3 miles ^tomorrow *every week for 2 times2-3 miles ^in 22 days *every week for 4 timestrack ^in 2 days *every week for 7 timesrecovery ^in 3 days *every week for 7 timestempo ^in 4 days *every week for 7 times1-3 miles ^in 5 days *every week for 2 times2-3 miles ^in 26 days *every week for 4 times2-3 miles ^in 6 days *every week for 2 times3-4 miles ^in 27 days *every week for 4 timesrecovery ^in 7 days *every week for 6 times5km ^in 56 days
Hope you enjoy it.
