Tips & Tricks Tuesday: Avoid heatstroke with time-based tags

Tuesday, August 3, 2010 by Emily Boyd

The awesomeness of tags is that you can use them to organize your tasks any way you want to. This tip, shared by Amy in Alabama, demonstrates a creative use of time-based tags:

Time-based tags

I live in the Deep South. It's August. The heat index is 100+.

There are some tasks that no one has any business doing until after 6 pm or so — outdoor activities and some indoor ones that require a lot of physical exertion.

I've created a tag called "after6pm" for such tasks so that I can easily see what needs to wait for the cooler part of the day. For you early birds, a tag like "before8am" would work, too.
