Server issues
Thursday, June 22, 2006 by Emily Boyd
We've experienced some intermittent server issues over the past day or so, which has meant that the site has been briefly unavailable at times. We're working our hardest to resolve this, and apologise to everyone inconvenienced by the outages. This is the first time that we've experienced outages in the eight months that we've been running Remember The Milk, so you can be assured that we're just as frustrated as you are!
Update: Remember The Milk has recovered from a mild cold, and is now running smoothly once again. We apologise to anyone who was affected by the outages -- we've taken steps to protect against similar incidents occurring in the future.
Remember The Milk In Your Language
Saturday, June 03, 2006 by Emily Boyd
We really enjoy hearing from people all around the world who use Remember The Milk to manage their daily lives. Many users have requested that we make the service available in their native language so that their friends and family can use it too.
We'd love to make our service available in as many languages as possible -- but to do this, we need your help. If you're fluent in a language other than English, you can volunteer to help translate Remember The Milk into your favourite language with our new online translation program.
Remember The Milk's translation program makes it easy for volunteers to collaboratively translate the service (inspired by the Google In Your Language program). Since we quietly launched the program a few days ago, over 60 volunteers have been working hard towards translating Remember The Milk into 24 languages. Thank you to these volunteers for doing such an amazing job!
We're excited about making Remember The Milk available in new languages as translations are completed. If you have some spare time and would like to help with translation (you can translate as little or as much as you'd like, or simply help by reviewing others' work), please feel free to sign up :)
